A Friendship Five Years in the Making

About half a decade ago, I made a Facebook post looking for a salon who specialized in blonde. That post led me to Kaitlyn House, owner of House of Style Hair Salon—and little did I know that booking that first appointment would lead to one of the sweetest friendships I’ve made through my work.

When I first met Kaitlyn, she was just one week away from getting married! Fast forward five years, and we’ve done at least two shoots together every year. What started as a hair appointment turned into years of creating, laughing, celebrating, and documenting so many seasons of her life.... and also many hairstlyes haha!

And now, getting to celebrate her maternity season feels extra special. Kaitlyn is absolutely glowing, and getting to capture this chapter for her and her family is something I don't take for granted.

My job has brought so many incredible people and friendships into my life over the past decade, but Kaitlyn has truly been one of the most kindred spirits I’ve ever met. There’s just something so special about the friendships that come from simply crossing paths at the right time—and I’m so thankful ours did.

Kaitlyn, thank you for trusting me year after year to capture your story, your business, your milestones, and now this beautiful new chapter.
